Communication

Recitals, fundraising activities, and information relevant to students come to you in regular emails and posted on our web pages.  Please email or call your teacher or the SfS Office with any questions.
Each family has the responsibility to check email and posted areas at least weekly.

Messages

Faculty and students cannot be reached during teaching hours and often not even early in the morning before the teaching day begins.  Check with your teacher(s) for their preferred method of contact.  Please do not ask staff at the SfS or other facilities used by the School to communicate messages to faculty.

Confidentiality of Information

The School for Strings maintains records concerning each student.  These include birth date, family names, address, contact information, scholarship information, enrollment history, student repertoire, performances and progress reports, evaluations and other information for assisting staff in planning for a student’s lessons.  Only faculty, the SfS registrar and each individual student’s parents have access to student records.  We do not share this information with any other parties.
