Membership with voting rights costs $5 per year per family. Annual Meetings are normally held just before an all-school Ensembles Concert. During this time all students are in rehearsal for the program.

WHAT A TERRIFIC SfS FAMILY WE HAVE

As families and members of the School for Strings, you accept the responsibility for the financing of the School.  This includes paying tuition and fees on time plus active participation in the School's funding raising activities. According to our charter from Michigan, the School must derive at least 10% of its annual budget through fund raising and donations.

The Board of Directors, acting on behalf of the all families and students of the School for Strings, organizes fund raising projects.  These and all financial matters of the School are presented during Meetings of the Corporation. The School needs each and every family to participate in these activities in order to meet our financial and legal obligations.
