To really learn to play the violin, viola, cello or double bass beautifully, you need regular, individual in-persons lessons. With our teachers present, can really see details of the best techniques up close so much better than through a computer screen. In person, you receive the best attention to guide you through your musical journey.
The School for Strings has the highest qualified and most experienced faculty you will find providing lessons on violin, viola, cello & double bass in the greater Port Huron area with students from preschool ages through older adults.

Our Corelli and Festivo Orchestras, Fiddle Club and String Quartet will present a lively program. Come meet us and talk about how you can join our wonderful students or how to arrange for our groups to perform for you.
Student Solo Recitals
Two programs: 1:30 and 4:00 of wonderful music played by our violin, viola and cello students including pieces by Vivaldi, Beethoven, Squire, Bridge, Béla Kéler and many, many more.
